Why I Started This Blog

I decided to start a blog to document the challenges and triumphs of staying stylish while sporting a bump. Being pregnant, women are expected to look plain and dull. I went to visit my Grandmother one day wearing a short dress and her reaction said it all. She looked at me with a surprise look and said, "You're pregnant, pregnant people are not suppose to look sexy!" Well grandma I beg to differ! The problem is the fashion worlds seems to agree with grandma. Very few really understand and offer solutions.

The explosion of pregnant celebrities proudly sporting a bump such as Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba and Halle Berry just to name a few, created a new trend in fashion. It paved the way for pregnant moms to look yummy as they can be. The problem is, how do you get the look without breaking the bank. These women can look glamorous because they could afford to. If you go to a specialty store that offers maternity clothing, you'd have to pay a premium.

This is the challenge that I am more than willing to tackle. So I say, bring it on Grandma!

I'm back!!!

I'm finally back to blogging from a very long hiatus...After the birth of my bumble bees, I just put all of my energy on them. I guess I underestimated the work involve. But now I finally got the hang of things and my babies are such angels that I have time to blog again.

Lately I've been very inspired and excited. I am already planning their first birthday. It's not until November but as I've said, I'm very excited. I saw this invitation and I knew right away that I would want to use this theme for their birthday.

It's a bee party for my babies bee-day! I know I keep saying I'm very excited but I am that I actually went to Michael's just to stack up on crafty stuff. Good thing there's a sale. I am planning to make my own version of the stuff that they have on this site http://www.thecelebrationshoppe.com/themes/view/buzz . I will keep updating my blog just to see where my venture will take me. For now Queen Bee is signing out.
